Toshiba Corp announced today that its unit Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corp, or Toshiba ESS, will deliver steam turbines and generators for a renovation job at a 45-MW geothermal power plant in Kenya. Under the agreement with SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co Ltd, the new Units 1 through 3 at the Olkaria I plant will increase their output to 21 MW from the current 15 MW. Monroe County Commissioner Kevin Galford says work on the exterior of the building as well as the upper courtroom is going steady.
